I had my first visit at URBN Dental and was genuinely impressed! From start to finish, everyone was incredibly friendly, professional, and welcoming. Nicki and Dr. Johnson made me feel completely at ease—they walked me through my treatment plan step by step and made sure I understood everything clearly. It’s rare to look forward to going back to the dentist, but I truly can’t wait for my next visit. Highly recommend!

Unlike any other dentist I’ve been to. I booked a new patient visit / dental cleaning. ( that’s what the booking said) I did my x-rays, talked to 4 different people between 1:30pm- 3:00pm while I’m in the patient room. I’m thinking the information is nice but when am I getting my actual cleaning ( it’s been an hour at this point) Then a lady comes in and tells me “our type of practice doesn’t give standard cleanings” I would only get a cleaning if I either paid for a $300 scaling service. She asked me on the spot if I wanted to get that done while I was there and that it would take an hour. After being there already for 2 hrs I said “I’m not able to do that right now.” ( I had to get back to work) and then she says “ well we also provide payment plans” umm.. okay, a little offended because I don’t know how we got to the impression I couldn’t pay for the full amount. So I declined again stating it was a timing issue and says we can schedule the procedure and it’s a $50 deposit. Okay, again with the eager selling. l have never been to a dentist where the only thing I get done is an x-ray for two hours. I have never been sat down and have a sheet “thrown” in my face with multiple treatment options with multiple $$$ at once as if I’m at a nail salon. I have never had to put down a deposit. It’s hours later and I’m still processing how I was at a dentist for two hours and didn’t get a cleaning. Instead I took two naps ( in between waiting for people to come to talk to me) and I didn’t even get my free electric toothbrush that I was looking forward to. I won’t go back because I honestly don’t trust the integrity of the place.
Side note: to the “sales” lady at the front desk who was taking a training. You were very eager to tell your peers the way you present treatment options to patients. FYI, maybe take the trainers advice because being presented a sheet of treatment plan options between $300- $2,000 is not effective.

Booked a last minute appointment overnight for a chipped tooth. Although their schedule was full they squeezed me in and me out of the office in 20 minutes. Great office environment and great customer service.

Great experience from the get go. Went in for a cleaning/filling and URBN staff was welcoming upon entering. Their office was very clean and modern looking, it almost didn’t feel like a dental visit. Frank and Nashwa, the dental assistant and hygienist, were both very attentive during the process of X-rays and cleaning, I even got a compliment saying I had good hygiene. Frank was on top of it, almost like he knew what the Dr was going to ask for before even saying it. Dr. Matt made sure there were no sharp edges and that I felt comfortable with my bite before leaving the chair. Overall one of the best dental office visits I’ve experienced. I’ll be back for my next 6 month cleaning.

Frank did an amazing job today. One of the least uncomfortable x rays I’ve ever gotten. Nawsha is also really cool and makes this process a lot less daunting

First time going to this location since it was closer to me but I usually go to the UPTOWN location and they are great ! But this location was very unorganized, I had a unpleasant experience with the front desk employees due to them being unprofessional and they continued to give me incorrect information that the dentist did not provide at any moment during my visit ! They never call you back to confirm or correct themselves and I would be coming back.

Dr. Matt and Laisha were INCREDIBLE!!! I came in really really nervous about the work that had to be done and they reassured that I wouldn’t feel a thing! I even went to sleep while they performed the necessary work. They made me VERY comfortable and I felt no pain at all!

Please do not go here unless you want to be scammed, big time. I booked an "emergency" visit and so I paid 25 to book the appointment i show up and they don't even have my appointment in their system, I told them exactly what was wrong and if he could help. They said yes we will honor your appointment since you paid for it I had to show them proof because she did not believe me. Which was odd. I go back there into a room and they make me do an xray which is standard ( your also paying for the xray) but I told them what I needed before I arrived and when I arrived. Which was a simple filling of ONE tooth for a small cavity. After the xrays were done and I waited for an hour in the room the nurse comes in and tells me he has no availability till next week. This office should NOT offer emergancy services and make the patient pay for the booking and xrays if the doctor has NO availability. Straight scam. And guess what? The filling is over $400 dollars for one tooth i call bull my actual dentist that I go to regularly charges $100 a filing i feel so bad for whomever goes here. Good luck to you.

This was my second visit to Urban Dental, and I was assisted by Laisha and Dr. Matt. The overall experience was very positive. I was impressed by the excellent customer service, from the front desk receptionist to the dental hygienist. I highly recommend this practice for its friendly and professional staff.

The hygienist and dentist at this location were great! Unfortunately, the rest of my experience was not. When I notified the office of my change in insurance status, I received a phone call asking me the same thing and ended up having to tell them the same thing multiple times. Automated messages requesting I confirm my appointment never stopped despite me having confirmed my appointment more than once. The final straw for me was when I was 3 minutes late and received yet another text message from the staff making sure I was coming to the appointment. By the end, it just felt like I was being harassed and will not be coming back.

I had a great experience today at the dentist! I usually am pretty nervous when I come ESPECIALLY when it comes to fillings but they made me so comfortable, they numbed me really good, it was pretty quickly and even gave me a nice hot towel after to wipe my face which I thought was nice!

Very professional and swift with service. I had an emergency tooth extraction that was located in the rear of the lower jaw, the entire process from the initial seating in the chair to the finish if the extraction took less than 45 minutes. Everything was explained prior and during the process and everything went exactly as explained. I highly recommend this office, and Dr Matt personally.

I was a temp here for one day. Did what I had to do and did it right. Office is understaffed but is to be expected when requested to temp. Had to show myself around for the most part, 1 other assistant helped with what he could. Management needs to get it together if they want this office to stay afloat or they’ll lose their remaining amazing staff from the back (although they deserve better anyways).

My husband went there to get a plan in place because we knew he needed extensive work. The dentist didn’t do all of the X-rays the first visit so he gave care plans and quotes based on incomplete information. So when my husband went back for a follow up, the plan and quote changed significantly. He went to another dentist for a second opinion, and when we requested the X-rays we were told the manager had to approve whether or not they would send them. When I asked why, because we had paid for the services, ADRIANA said they she didn’t see a payment from the insurance company yet. He paid a fee after being seen both days. The X-rays are part of my husband’s medical records so they belong to him. They shouldn’t be held hostage.

That said, the last time I visited, they told me two cavities and at least NINE “beginnings of cavities”. I thought that sounded suspicious. How did I develop nine “pre-cavities” in the past year when I’ve never had any before? It felt like they were pushing an unnecessary treatment. I have since gone to a more local dentist and they told me I had one cavity and did not mention anything about pre-cavities.
I am admittedly anxious at the dentist. While they were doing my filling which was very deep and uncomfortable, the dentist told the hygienist that I would be a good candidate for laughing gas. I thought it was rude that he would talk about me as if I was not there. It made me self conscious. Why not just offer me the laughing gas since I told him in advance that I was anxious?
Also, I thought the hygienist/assistant was condescending during my last visit. She asked me how often I floss and I told her once a day. She told me I should actually be flossing at least twice a day. She asked me what toothpaste I used and I told her sensodyn. She told me I should actually be using sensodyn pronamel. She asked me what kind of toothbrush I used and I told her an electric toothbrush and she accepted that. She asked me if I ate sweets and I told her yes. She told me that I shouldn’t do that. I understand this is nitpicking, but this whole interaction felt like an exercise in correcting me. She could have easily given me her recommendations without proving I was doing the wrong thing over and over again.
Again, the filling itself has lasted and my new dentist says it looks good, but I would not recommend URBN. Felt corporate and predatory. I ended up paying $500 for my filling not including the cleaning.

Let me start off with how welcoming & comfortable this office staff makes you feel. From the jump I felt at ease when they put me first. Laisha was so gentle as she took care of ny X-rays, she was explaining everything in detail & answered any of my questions. As far as Nashwa, she was heaven sent. I’ve never experienced such a smooth dentist visit. She was so knowledgeable with everything & made a game plan for me that I was comfortable with. By far the best experience I’ve ever had. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Havent been to the dentist in a while but the team here made it super easy for me to get back on track with my oral health!! Kylie and Redi were super sweet and were able to provide me with the education necessary to make informed decisions about my treatment plan!! OMG what can I say about URBN Dental!!!!!The entire staff was amazing- this was by far the best dental experience I have ever had in my life! Dr. Lee was very compassionate and encouraging, and was extremely comforting through my procedure. Rashwa was very through in explaining the cleaning process! My teeth have never been this clean before-EVER.I highly recommend URBN Dental- Oh and by the way, the "swag bag" was everything! The excellence is in the details- you have a patient for life!!! They need to rename the place-ROCK STAR URBN DENTAL!!

And my absolute fav was Tatiana!!!! i believe she was a manager there!! They saw how frantic I was about my teeth and they did everything to ensure I walked out happy about my smile! They have a parking garage on Travis st (validated). I LOVE this dental office. The X-ray tech did a couple of X-ray images, 3D imaging, and a different type of imaging. My dental hygienist (Krysta (spell check)) really made my visit. She was so informative and explained gum and periodontal health extensively. Even with the pokey-gum device, she was super gentle, which is not the norm. I wouldn’t be surprised if she previously worked with children because she was so gentle and patient. I also appreciated Dr. Lee and his preventative measures for tooth calcification. These topics have never been covered with me at other dental offices so I appreciate the education.

I recently had an urgent dental issue and made a same-day appointment with URBN Dental. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care I received. I’ve been going to this dentist for 5 years now, such lovely people! They are very speedy and professional, always a light environment. I would always recommend this dentist! Dr. A and Dr. Benjamin Golick are so nice and thorough. All the dental hygienists especially Krista; are very good at their jobs, my teeth feel like new after one cleaning. They’re so gentle and constantly make sure you’re okay. Bedside Manner is incredible! Cant recommend Urbn Dental enough!

I have had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful dental office twice now and both visits have been absolutely amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and thorough in their work. Dr. Lee is absolutely amazing and is very personable, which I appreciate very much as someone who can be nervous sometimes about getting dental work done. The bedside manner is outstanding, the atmosphere is inviting, and the staff is professional and attentive. Both procedures I needed done were performed while I was pregnant and the consideration that went into my comfort and wellbeing as an expecting patient speaks volumes and I will definitely be making Dr. Lee my go-to dentist from now on!!

I visited URBN Dental for the first time after about a year or two from not going to the dentist, so I needed a deep cleaning obviously. By far, it was my best experience ever! Parking was a breeze in the garage and they validate tickets. I was instantly greeted and within 5 minutes of my appointment time I was called to the back room where they begin to numb my mouth. I have never had a dentist office use numbing gel for a deep cleaning, but it made the process more doable. Dr. Lee administered the anesthesiology to ensure my gums were numb and doing this after having the numbing gel did not hurt as much as it had in the past.
Krista was my hygienist and she is the reason I had to write this review! Her attention to detail, coaching me through what she was doing and about to do was TOP TIER! Any time she sensed that I was experiencing pain, she swiftly asked me how I was doing and applied numbing gel if necessary. I also experienced acute trauma to my left ear some years back so when the drill was too much instead of continuing, she proceeded with manually cleaning my teeth. After everything was completed, they gifted me with a Quip toothbrush and several other products to take care of my teeth until my next cleaning! I definitely am glad that I decided to try them out and will be back to ensure my teeth stay as clean as can be!!!

I had an amazing experience having Dr. Ayoade as my Dentist. He has done my crowns, filings, you name it. I trust his work and his advice completely, and all of his work is outstanding. I have only had one dentist my whole life, but I moved to Houston for work, and I was recommended to check out Dr. Nick Ayoade at URBN Dental for my routine x-rays and cleaning. I will say I was warmly greeted; the facilities were super nice, modern with up-to-date technology. The staff was friendly and made me feel welcomed. Dr. Ayoade was super professional, down to earth and made my worries at ease. It goes without saying that I will definitely be back every 6 months. Highly recommend!

I had a phenomenal experience at the Midtown location. My hygienist, Krista, was very thorough with providing me with detailed information and preventative measures. She was very general when she cleaned my teeth as well. Dr. Nelson and Dr. Lee are the best ! They are very nice and answer any question you may have. Everyone was very transparent when it came to answering my questions. I definitely recommend this location as everyone is very welcoming, caring, and informative.

URBN Dental is by far the best dentist office experience I’ve encountered! The staff was so kind and welcoming from the front desk to the exam room. The hygienists were so knowledgeable and educative. Alberto gave a very detailed explanation on what hygienic concerns and care I should attention. Briana conducted the most thorough deep cleaning I have ever experienced. The assistants, Crystal and Yelani, were so helpful and gave awesome direction on what I should expect as well as getting X-rays completed. Before the actual work was commenced the Treatment Planner Roxze went over financials and broke all expenses down. This made me feel comfortable about how I was spending monies and prioritizing my oral hygiene. Mostly, I would like to acknowledge how Dr. Lee made sure my surgery was pleasant, swift and painless! I can honestly say this dental practice is a 10 out of 10!!! Thank you all at URBN Dental for the best experience ever!!!

I went here and they told me I would need 3-4 out of pocket $500 ‘deep cleans’ whatever that means. When I asked for just a regular cleaning they refused.
I later went to a different dentist who took care of me with a standard cleaning nothing out of pocket and nothing extra needed.
It’s a shame that they are trying to scam customers like that.

Krissy did an excellent job with treating me today! Everyone overall had excellent customer service and were extremely friendly. Talk about URBAN… the atmosphere itself makes you feel more at home and at a Starbucks executive lounge opposed to being nervous and anxious with white lights and loud blades obnoxiously filling the air space.

Visited Houston for the weekend then all of a sudden my crown popped out after chewing gum. This was on a late Saturday morning so a lot of places were closed and except URBN dental. I wasn’t a patient of theirs but after I called to let them know what happened, they took me in last minute and were able to cement my crown back. They were all very helpful and nice and treated me like I was a regular patient. If I lived here, they would be my #1 pick for a primary dentist, even if I had to drive across town.

I personally had a really great experience. I’ve had a long history of trauma with dentists as my child dentist was an absolutely terrible person and actually injured me multiple times growing up. As such I’ve avoided going to the dentist my entire adulthood, but unfortunately that led to issues with my teeth. I had cracked a tooth several months ago and it finally gave way to a giant hole, so I couldn’t wait any longer. I made an appointment for the first emergency time slot and they not only got me in, they got me fixed up. Price wise I didn’t have insurance but I thought it would have been more expensive, so I honestly thought the price was fine that I was quoted. I didn’t get any extra stuff added besides the cavity next to the tooth that needed pulling because it was getting bad as well. They offered to fill 2 other cavities but I requested we do it another time and there wasn’t any backlash or pushing. The staff was extremely kind and even got me extra anesthesia when I requested because I was having a small anxiety attack. The dentist himself didn’t shame me or make me feel bad for the state of my teeth, just got to work and I was shocked how fast he worked. I was in and out with an extraction and filling within an hour. I will definitely be coming back to get the rest of my teeth fixed up and for the first time in my life I’m actually looking forward to going to the dentist to get all my teeth taken care of.

My first appointment to a dentist in over 10 years, I came to URBN Dental on the recommendation of a family member.
My treatment was superb, even though I was 15 minutes late they brought me right in with no wait. The staff was very kind and approachable.
I had a deep cleaning scheduled but they went ahead and did my 3 fillings during the same appointment even though it was a last second request.
The procedure itself makes me very nervous but they were kind and worked with me at my own pace to see it through.
I’m very happy with the service I was provided today from the receptionist to the hygienists and the Dentist Dr. Lee.

In chair service great. Technicians and hygienists have excellent bed side manner and very personable. They explain in detail everything needing to be done and explain aftercare steps.
Only note: come with insurance. With insurance my experience was extremely affordable. But if you don’t have insurance they WILL work with you and offer payment plans. Great office certainly recommend

I arrived early for my appointment, and they saw me right away. Everyone (doctors, hygienists, assistants, staff) was friendly, accommodating and attentive. They informed me of the needed procedures and got everything done in a timely manner. Dr. Park and the team were extremely professional and diligent. Wow is literally all I can say. The entire staff is simply amazing. I am not one that hates the dentist, but if I were, this would be the perfect place to go to make me feel the most comfortable. I had a fantastic experience in a clean and organized dental office. Not only were we greeted as soon as we entered the door, the care given was fast and quality. I appreciated the professionalism, how they listened with and provided an explanation. I could not believe I was able to get same day booking for an emergency. Additionally, the front office team was able to verify my insurance quickly. The app sent to my text was easy to navigate and better than other places I have been. URBN Dental totally changed my feeling on that this morning. Not only were they very kind, but they also were very thorough and truly explained everything to me. I came to URBN dental after a bad experience at my previous dentist. They were great, my teeth are happy again, and he gives you time to ask questions. The hygienist spent extra time showing me my X-ray and giving me practical recommendations to help me take the best care of *my* teeth. Everyone is friendly. Great atmosphere.

WOW! I actually enjoyed going to the dentists office for the first time in my life lol. I came in for a general cleaning. Andrea was my dental hygienist and she was fantastic. This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a cleaning. She is highly skilled at her craft and also very communicative about each step. The dentist was also very pleasant. Highly recommended for all your dental needs.

Just had our first cleaning and had a great experience! They were able to clearly communicate what they saw in the exam and effectively and kindly answer any questions we had. They were also frequently asked if we were comfortable and doing alright. Their equipment seemed to be very high quality and gave the most comfortable experience I’ve had at a dentist appointment and that’s saying a lot since the dentist gives me high anxiety. Highly recommend!

Really appreciated how Dr. Golik took the time to explain the treatment plan and made sure I was comfortable throughout my procedure! The dental assistants and front desk staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Excellent experience, end to end! First trip to a dentist in nearly a decade and the entire team kept me at ease throughout! Gabby, Ria and Dr. Golik had to deal with A LOT, but they made it painless and comfortable! Ria runs a flawless office, Gabby's genuine empathy and personality took so much of the fear out of my visits and Dr. Golik performed TWO EXTRACTIONS, one infected, with such precision and expertise that I walked out pain free and was fully recovered in no time. I highly recommend this office!

Honestly the best dentist’s office experience I had. The costs they told me initially never changed. They were clear, informative, and kind. The office is also spotless and perfectly located right of 59! This is how all dental offices should operate!

Great experience at URBN Dental all the way through. I’m nervous about going to the dentist, but I’ve consistently found Dr. Golik and everyone at his office to be kind, transparent about pricing, and really good at their jobs. I had a root canal done last week - something I had been dreading- and the process was painless and quick. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new dentist!

Had an awesome experience there. The office is super cool, clean, modern, and creates a relaxed environment. The staff is amazingly friendly and Dr. Golik was personable and didn’t try to sell me anything. You can tell they just want the best for you. Receiving a Quip toothbrush as a new patient was also a nice touch. They support local artists by showcasing them at their office and by also having business cards on display. They are more than dentistry, they are an advocate for the community. I’ll be back and recommend you check them out too.

I was a new patient at URBN dental midtown recently. I can’t say enough great things. The office decor is fresh, modern and different than any other dental office I have been to. My favorite part was receiving a free electric toothbrush for being a new patient. It’s really cool to be appreciated as a patient, I can tell they go above and beyond and care about every fine detail. I will be back!

I'm new to Houston and was looking to find a new dentist. I did a lot of searching and read many reviews... Due to the ease of getting an appointment and good reviews, I decided on URBN Dental. I couldn't have chosen a better spot.
The staff at the office were quite possible the most accommodating, efficient, and talented group I've ever seen in any doctor's office. From time I walked in the door to the time that I walked out, I felt like I was their only patient in the office. And I definitely wasn't. They all had an excellent bedside manner.
I would push you to go here before going anywhere else. They have earned my business for as long as I am a Houston resident.

I have had two appointments at URBN Dental and both have been quick and easy. Everyone in the office is so friendly and goes out of their way to make the appointment as simple and comfortable as possible. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a great dentist located close to downtown!

Thanks Urban Dental Midtown for the great hospitality I received as a new patient. The office has cute decor plus very clean. Not to mention everyone that I encountered from the front desk to the dentist were extremely friendly and helpful. Doctor Golik was very sensitive to my needs while I had a few cavities filled. Also, I received a cute warm lavender hand towel for calming. Not to mention some goodies to take home such as an electric toothbrush. What a fantastic dentist! Everyone at the office made me feel super comfortable. I love that you can watch Netflix while they clean your teeth! They put a lot of thought into the little things and it shows.

This place was awesome! I love the vibe and local artwork they sell throughout the office. They also have TVs in every room. I had to go in for emergency tooth pain and every single person was so kind and incredible and helpful. They explained everything to me and answered all my questions! Low key sad I cannot go more than twice a year. This is 100% my favorite dentist I've ever been too so far!!!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!!

The team at URBN Dental Midtown is wonderful. They are really welcoming and make you feel very comfortable. When I first came in, I was dealing with some cavities and gum issues. My dentist and hygienists got me cleaned up, filled my cavities, talked to me about using an electric toothbrush (which is simple but has made a huge difference), and got me a night guard. They offered thorough explanations to my MANY questions and followed up with me after procedures. The folks at the front desk are also very patient and thorough in answering questions about payment. Scheduling appointments with them is very simple and their website is easy to navigate. Would recommend to anyone!

URBN Dental provides such friendly service, every-time I am greeted walking in the door with someone using my name and people who treat me like I am the only patient that they are taking care of that day. They introduced me to my new toothbrush by Quip that I have been using for over 2 years now and I am getting the best feedback on its benefits for my mouths hygiene. I recommend this place to all my friends and I highly suggest if you hated going to the dentist in the past, try this place and it will change your view on keeping you teeth clean and healthy.

URBN Dental Midtown has a wonderful office and staff. The front desk receptionist was very welcoming and the back office was also hospitable. The staff was very informative and explained their processes and answered my questions thoroughly when asked. The hygienist and dentist were able to apply more numbing medication when stopped and allowed time for it to kick in ensuring my comfort during my visit. I never felt like they were rushing me to get in and out. They even gave me a sweet electronic toothbrush as a gift.

I absolutely adore URBN Dental!! The office is so unique and unlike an other dental office I’ve visited. The doctor himself is wonderful and makes everything so comfortable, especially since I’m not very fond of the dentist.

Urban dental is THE place! Within the week they were able to accommodate me in their busy schedule. The staff is very sweet and walk you through everything step by step. If you have any questions, don’t be shy - ask away! When in your designated room, you’re able to watch Netflix and have the choice of a blanket with water. Another plus is the free electric toothbrush when departing. Such a great place and would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

My friend told me about this place, though I was nervous at 1st but Rea and Betty were extremely personable. I had to get cavities filled and it was the least painful experience in my whole life of dentistry. Super cool modern office and the dentist was professional and cool. Love my new dentist.

I called with questions and they asked me to come down and they saw me right away. Never sit in a waiting room all day at the dentist, if you have the option, come here.

I loved my experience at URBN Dental. First, the ambiance of the office is so cool and modern. I felt like I was in an art gallery and not the dentist. Second, the staff is so incredible, knowledgeable, and friendly! Hands down the most comfortable experience I’ve had at the dentist. Everyone here was amazing! I came in with an extreme toothache and the staff was welcoming and did an great job of putting me at ease. I was seen quickly and the dentist was great. He assessed the issue quickly and was very professional. On top of that, the office is beautiful and they have Netflix to watch while you’re being seen. Would highly recommend!
